Hello
AHMORLET PRESENTS THE COLLECTOR:
"In Hobbie to Collection
I remember very well that this love of cars since I was born maybe 4 or 5 years, we are talking of 1970. At the time my father had a glamorous Mercedes Benz 220 1962 Navy and my mother a blue 1968 Volkswagen Sedan Classic water. Later, my father was changing a car until it once again acquired another glamorous Mercedes Benz 220 1962, and my mother switched to a 1972 Volkswagen Sedan sport, a situation that agreed with my age of 13 years, since my concern was in his handling Volkswagen height at which I began my first Pinino driving a car.
Along with other 1971 Volkswagen Beetle my sponsor, I went to wash the car and seized the opportunity to turn them on and a bit moved forward, a bit moved back, etc, etc,. Shortly after I started to turn around the block and my 16 years I get my "permission" to drive (no license), hence I became a true "Kafir the wheel," as the grinding of the wheels on exit fireball is shot like an action that fills me with emotion. To all this he added that the sound equipment began to be an indispensable part of the sports cars and I should not go for either a ride on the Volkswagen without a great team of sound, that in 1986 the best brands were: Pioneer, Clarion, Jensen, and get your Majesty: ALPINE, appeared after brands such as Kenwood, MTX, and a majesty: Rockford Fosgate, etc.
My passion for the Volkswagen has grown to such an extent that on one occasion he was on vacation from school I started to scrape my mother's Volkswagen to change the color and Saturday and Sunday my buddies on the block and I totally scratched, next was a long week of giving the details, you know: putty here and there, a first layer, detail, edit, more first, detailing to the final painting. The truth for not being professional in painting was very good and this was due to care taken throughout the process.
Ok, Ok, and that has to do with being a collector of Volkswagen to scale, and there I: love for this great car and was planted in me and from there began making the famous Mexican concentrations traveled from the stadium University City to the Angel of Independence, where they participated in about 20 sports cars, clear all VW Sedan.
The weather did not stop his walk and appeared vocheras concentrations throughout the Mexican republic and change my home state of the Federal District of Mexico City "the beautiful port of Veracruz, where he met and rest in peace my good friend Arturo Garcia Abdala, creator of the Club: BAD INFLUENCE, and forerunner of the current vochera in Mexico, I began to detail my Volkswagen finishes called "Tuning", but the taste takes a lot of money because each accessory will cost a little high for me economy and so I focused the same taste but at Volkswagen: I well remember the first copy I bought was a convertible model red paste that has a bear, but the store had more colors: blue, yellow and orange, so I decided to come back the next day to buy them all ..... then I decided to start my collection.
I continued frequenting various shops until I found a real gem of the leading brand in cars at "BBURAGO" in scale 1 / 18. It was the edition of 1955 Volkswagen Beetle Kafer gold, which was commemorated with the production of the Volkswagen Sedan 1 million. No doubt this kind of manufacturing is encouraged to mark any passion to become a collector.
Later I managed to get more models 1 / 18 sedans, one or another VW DRAG BUS, VW MICROBUS 1962, a Machtbox New Beetle, but the main line is the "Volkswagen Beetle" and this can be: Classic, Tuning, etc,. In total I have 197 cars, of which 165 are VW Sedans and the remaining 32 are Minibuses, Combis, Buggies, Karmann Ghias, Golf and Caribbean.
Also among my collection, I have some real gems:
• A wooden sedan, which opens the hood and trunk and has spare tire and engine. This gem gave me a very dear cousin who knows my collection.
• I have a Volkswagen as a picture frame I gave my wife.
• I have a scale model of clay.
• I have several plastic lunchboxes.
Finally, the passion for the Volkswagen is great and among other things I have to do is make economic programs and tours through different stores with great care in the toy department, since there is almost always hidden and there is a Volkswagen to find it!!
