Hello everyone. I don't know how old most people here are, but I'm a 50 year kid (at heart anyway) and I'm excited about my newest hobby,....creating diecast diorama's. I built a 1966 Ford 427 Shelby Cobra back in 2001 and have sense bought some 1:18 scale Cobras, with the latest being my pride, a Franklin Mint 1/64 all aluminum bodied 427 Cobra. I bought a ready made diorama off of ebay, then added tool's, automotive related stickers for the walls and a light bar. I'm waiting for my two-post car lift. I need checker board flooring, figures and other toys. Now that I've seen how the diorama's are made, I'll be making my own from now on. What I'm really excited about, is making one for my brother-in-law. It will be a trucker theme as he's a trucker. I think,...I've decided on the 1:64 scale ? I'll explain more in detail in a new post. I'll have many questions for you guys, especially those of you who make your own diorama's.
It's time to start working in my downstairs shop, with my new & exciting hobby !
Thank you, Kevin
